Part 2, enjoy!

Chapter 2: DO!

Alright, let’s make it happen.

As I stated earlier, if the preface, this step is all about action and it is without question the hardest part of achieving your goals.

Because taking action is a lot different than it looked in your design phase.

It looked easy.

But make no mistake about it, the action steps, much like working out or praying more often, takes blood, sweat and tears.

Confession: I have been a procrastinator all of my life.

Some have even called me lazy at times.  Let me first say, that’s fine.  It’s the ones who have challenged me, belittled me, yelled at me or humiliated me that have shaped who I am today (probably similar to you).  Those that have constructively challenged me, and will challenge you, out of love, I thank you because you have help us to overcome and continue to do so even to this day.

Back to the story

Procrastination is easy. Action is hard.  But as we have all learned in life, the things we work the hardest at, that we care about the most and strive to be the best at, give us the greatest satisfaction.

So, get off your ass and let’s take some action.

The steps to delivering this book that I described in Chapter 1 are not easy and each one of them takes my holy trifecta:

  1.    Time
  2.    Attention
  3.    Action

The time needed to give each sequential step the care it deserves. The attention of your undivided focus (which is terribly hard in this time we live in). And the action required to nurture the task to the finish line.

There are some tools that have helped me along the way.  In Chapter 1 we discussed some tools to help with designing your project but in this chapter we will discuss the tools needed to get these tasks going and to complete them.  Again, these are tools I use but everyone is particular to certain ones.  I would encourage you to read books, blogs and listen to podcasts of your favorite authors, bloggers and influencers and see what they use and see if it could work for you.
