In reading some recent Brand wisdom, I came across the phrase “be customer obsessed” and it really struck a chord with me.
Is doesn’t say be customer committed, or be customer centric, it says be customer OBSESSED.
I love this notion because too many of us go through our daily work cycle and don’t think, is this the best thing for my customers, we tend to think “will this sell?”
Switching our brains to be more customer OBSESSED will commit ourselves to a constant ideal, a dedication that will keep us focused on the #1 reason we get a paycheck, our bosses, the customer.
If we can all commit to this, and really make it live throughout every fiber of our professional being, then we can turn customers into raving fans, and in turn, into stakeholders for life.
